Restaraunt Review: Musashi, Dublin

Dublin is a pretty cosmopolitan place, so I wasn't surprised to see Sushi joints here and there  I was surprised  however, at how good Musashi was.

Musashi is a small joint on the other side of the river from Temple Bar.  The place is a hole in the wall and its hopping with locals, so getting a table here can take some patience.

Once we were seated, we ordered some edamame (delicious) and cold sake.

Mary had ramen for her main course.  The noodles were excellend, although we both found the broth (and hence everything cooked in it) to be bland.

I had chef's choice sashimi, which turned out to be two types of shrimp, salmon, and of course tuna.  The salmon was devine--clearly local-caught, and excellent.  The tuna was grainy (probably flown in from somewhere frozen), and the shrimp succulent and sweet.

Overall, a good meal.  I'd eat here again.
